One on One Coaching

One on one coaching will guide you through your journey from where you are to where you want to be. The concept is to have PRIME’s coaches put you in a position to succeed through a scientific approach. PRIME continues its drive to empower others through education and coaching.

  THE ASSESSMENT

Before your strategy is determined, PRIME must first see where you have been. The assessment dives into personal, medical, orthopedic, and dietary history in order to recognize potential limitations. A Functional Movement Screening (FMS) will survey muscular imbalances and potential mechanical deficiencies. The screening serves as a keyhole into how your body is currently moving. Finally, the Imett VO2 Sub Max Test evaluates how efficient your body utilizes oxygen.

COACHING

PRIME’s job is to convert the assessment data into information. From here, a road map can be set to ensure your body is working synergistically: your personalized program.

The strategy is based on time and frequency. PRIME will take you through phases to ensure your body is being challenged, yet has acquired a solid foundation. You will be assigned a list of tasks to complete on a weekly basis to compliment the coaching.

WEEKEND CLASSES

Join us for our new weekend classes at PRIME! Saturdays will be a Speed, Agility, & Strength Training course to address athletes and anyone wanting to improve their movement mechanics. Sundays will be a Hips & Abs class, focusing on core strength and relieving pain in the spine and pelvis caused by our stressful lifestyles. As the weather gets colder and the days get shorter, these classes can help to maintain a healthy level of exercise and activity. Hope to see you there!

Speed, agility, & strength training

PRIME’s Speed, Agility, & Strength Training course will address the proper mechanics of movement and will focus on reducing the risk of injury, increasing power & strength, and building endurance & stamina. Utilizing our facility’s 30+ yards of turf, the small groups of participants will learn proper movement efficiency that is critical for athletes engaged in Soccer, Lacrosse, Hockey, Basketball, Tennis, Golf, and Football. The hour long sessions will be in groups of no more than 7 participants. Classes will be lead by PRIME’s Sports Performance Director, Ivan Tchatchouwo.

hips & abs

Today’s lifestyle of commuting, texting, and desk work has left us with tight hips, cramped up necks, and lower back pain. PRIME’s Hips & Abs class will restore proper movement and tension in the spine, as well as its foundation: the pelvis. The “hip complex” has over 25 muscles that initiate movements such as flexion/extension, internal/external rotation, or abduction/adduction. PRIME’s Hips & Abs class will create synergy in the “hip complex”, strengthen the abs, bolster cardiovascular endurance, and reinforce good posture through the ELDOA technique. Geoff Rose will be leading the class as he has a plethora of experience with spinal injuries, mis-alignment, and orthopedic injuries.

90 DAY RECONDITIONING

Revitalize with PRIME’s 90-Day Reconditioning Program. The program will commence with a consultation that will identify your goals, fitness history, injury history, and diet. After, an assessment of posture,  Functional Movement Screening (FMS), body fat, as well as a Resting Metabolic Rate and  Imett VO2 Sub Max Test will be done. Lastly, you will consult with a nutritionist who will create a meal plan for the next 90 days.

Once your coach creates your customized exercise program you will:

  • Have 3 sessions per week (total of 36)
  • Receive a post-workout shake after each session
  • Have bi-weekly therapy of your choice: physical, massage, or holistic.
  • Have 1 shopping trip with your coach and a cupboard raid (optional)
  • Be re-assessed 3 times throughout the program
  • Receive 1 re-assessment with nutritionist
  • Food Package (please inquire)
